KD Vespesjan’s most notable for the »Roman-for-a-day« event, when the public travels back in time to the era of ancient Rome, sees what soldiers looked and fought like, how craftsmen worked and how women made themselves even more beautiful. Even the Emperor Vespasianus himself might arrive to greet the visitors.

On this day you will be able to practice in making jewellry and military equipment, taste roman cuisine, construct the most solid wall or the most beautiful mosaic in the Empire, challenge your friends in ancient games, experience hot-blooded fights, join the warriors in battle formations and see a full-scale replica of a roman catapult in action.

The event culminates in the evening with a play showing the romantic life of a young couple and how an engagement and wedding looked like 2000 years ago.
